I’ve had an on again off again relationship with the color PINK for years.
Lately I’ve been enjoying the hottest pink to the palest.
Below is pic of collected pink hued objects I have in my home and some pink inspirational images <3

I’ve been preoccupied with grey or gray for the past 4 years. It’s such a moody chic color.
Although grey is frequently associated with being boring or sad it doesn’t have to be. I think it’s a lovely neutral.
Check out the pix below for some major grey dreaminess <3

Today I would like to share with you a wonderful website I stumbled upon, it’s called Closet Visit. The concept is an intimate look inside the closets and wardrobes of some of the most stylish women on planet earth. If you love all things stylish you must check it out for yourself www.closetvisit.com
Here’s some shots from the site:

I came across this beautiful home on apartmenttherapy.com.I love the serenity of the earthy woods and cream/white color tones. Everything about this home is so very lovely. While I don’t necessarily decorate in this exact style, something about it speaks to me. Enjoy <3

Ruthie Sommers is an american interior designer. Her sense of balance, colors, textures and styles is truly inspiring. I love how her rooms feel vintagey but yet still fresh and modern.
Enjoy <3

Magenta is a light pinkish purple color. This is one of those colors that make me happy.
Many decorators recommend having a touch of red in every room, I think having a touch of magenta is just as effective.
Magenta evokes a playful moodiness. If painting a whole room magenta is too much for you try adding a magenta hued pillow, throw or rug.
check out these pix below :>

Wallpaper is something to behold. It can make the most amazing difference in a room.
I really enjoy the look of a vintage wallpaper, more and more companies are making vintage inspired wall coverings(see below). Whether checked, floral, striped or damask it’s a lovely surprise for the eyes.

It seems last year GOLD really made a comeback. I think 2012 will be no different.
GOLD is such a warm glamorous hue. I for one despised GOLD for years thinking that silver was much more modern and fresh. How wrong I was, it is fast becoming one of the freshest colors in fashion, design and jewelry.
I posted a few lovely GOLD pieces below:
p.s. I particularly love the little gold heart ring which you can find at www.catbirdnyc.com

SMEG refrigerators are probably the coolest looking fridge you’ll ever see. They come in the most amazing colors and designs.
I think if I owned a SMEG I might just cook at home more…maybe??
They’ll run you over a grand so if you can’t afford one and want a similar look I would recommend spray painting your existing fridge a hue of choice. Meanwhile here’s some pix to drool over :)

For todays subject I chose bedding. According to studies we sleep 1/3 of our lifetime. So it would seem to me one should have lovely bedding.
Here’s some photos to inspire you :)

If there’s one thing I love,it’s dining outdoors (in pleasant weather of course)
Today I would like to share with you some inspiring outdoor arrangements :)

The Flowers:
Fresh cut Peonies :)

I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to paint my bathroom black. It’s so mysterious and dramatic. I like that white accents can be added to balance the all enveloping darkness.
Whether modern,bohemian,vintage or romantic it’s a nice effect :)
Below are some inspiring black bathrooms…
